History
Compañia Mexico Danza is a non-profit dance organization originally created to help keep kids off the streets and away from drugs; it is now a multi-generational dance group that continues to allow children a safe and healthy outlet free of drugs and gangs. Founder Rene Gonzalez has been “giving back” to his culturally diverse community for over 20 years. As a proud American he proudly carries the culture of his Hispanic roots.

With the collaboration of Martin Romero a previous principal dancer from the world famed Ballet Folkcorico de Mexico de Amalia Hernandez, Mexico Danza has grown to both a National and International level.

Because Rene and Martin are true to their roots they help instill values, discipline and pride in dancers of all ages. This has proven to be true as Compania Mexico Danza currently encompasses up three generations of dancers.
